Founder and Partner of Quartz Advisory Group, Michael is a former consultant and investor with over 30 years of experience focused on the life sciences and healthcare industries, including medical technology, pharmaceuticals, diagnostics and services. Prior to forming Quartz, Michael spent fourteen years as an analyst and health care investor at Jennison Associates, one of the world’s largest equity investment managers. During his tenure, he invested in public and private medical technology, pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, regularly communicating with senior management.    Prior to joining Jennison, Michael was a management consultant for over 15 years, including Boston Consulting Group, focused on pharmaceuticals and biotechnology. Mr. Bator also serves on the Board of Directors of life science companies 3DBio Therapeutics, a regenerative medicine company that precision manufactures living tissues and CytoSorbents Corporation (NASDAQ: CTSO), a leader in critical care immunotherapy, specializing in blood purification.
